What to Expect with your First Chiropractic Experience
Your chiropractor will take a full case history and conduct a through physical examination including blood pressure, spinal exam, neurological and orthopaedic tests.
Then, if necessary, you will be referred for x-rays, which are bulk-billed and taken at a local radiology clinic. You will normally be given a treatment during this visit unless it is contraindicated or you are not a candidate for chiropractic care.
This appointment will normally take about 30 minutes.
Second Visit: Report of Finding
Your chiropractor will prepare a thorough report of the x-ray and examination findings. You will be informed about the best treatment options for your condition and treatment will continue.
This will normally take about 30 minutes.
During this time, you will be adjusted and your chiropractor will address any muscular conditions as needed. Feel free to ask any questions or to discuss any issues during your treatment.
Regular treatments will normally take about 15 minutes.
