Why is Magnesium Important?

Why is Magnesium Important? Magnesium is an important mineral for healthy heart function, energy production, bone strength and muscle activity.

It is found in a variety of foods including legumes, green leafy vegetables, whole grains and seeds and fruits.

Some of the most common symptoms associated with magnesium deficiency include fatigue, muscle cramps, sleep disorders, and anxiety. Other signs may include loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting. If left untreated for a long period of time, it can lead to more serious health issues such as an irregular heartbeat or seizures. If you suspect that you are deficient in magnesium then it is important to speak with your doctor about testing your levels and getting the proper treatment. There are many supplements available on the market that can help restore normal levels if needed. Additionally eating foods high in this mineral like dark leafy green vegetables and nuts will also boost daily intake significantly.

Chiropractors are highly trained in the use of spinal manipulation, a form of manual therapy that uses force to restore joint movement and reduce pain. To diagnose these conditions, your chiropractor may perform a physical exam and obtain imaging tests such as x-rays or an MRI. Depending on the results, they can advise you on treatment options including adjusting the spine, strengthening exercises, and recommending supplements like magnesium. In addition to diagnosis and treatment options for magnesium deficiency or spinal issues, your chiropractor might recommend lifestyle changes such as eating healthier foods and exercising regularly. These changes can help improve overall health by increasing muscle strength which helps support the spine. Additionally, regular exercise is important for maintaining healthy bones and muscles as well as improving heart health.  A balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and lean proteins will also provide essential vitamins needed to maintain bodily functions like energy production – something those suffering from low levels of magnesium often struggle with!

If you suffer from any of the above conditions you may have magnesium deficiency and/or a spinal problem.  To learn more about magnesium and how to supplement, ask your chiropractor.

Researchers have found that chiropractic adjustments to the lower back are highly effective for people who suffer from chronic pain. The new research showed how these simple treatments can provide relief by allowing patients more mobility and breaking down fibrous adhesions in joints related with vertebrae movement

In addition, this is an exciting time because we’re learning about what really goes on inside your body when you receive a clinical visit – it’s not just physical tissues but also neural connections!

New research into the benefits of chiropractic adjustments for back pain has been published, showing how these minor treatments can help patients with restricted mobility in their lumbar spines. The study used MRI scans to document immediate improvement after receiving an adjustment and showed degenerative changes within joints caused by fibrous adhesions (or scarring).

In a new study, 112 patients with low-back pain were randomly assigned to receive either chiropractic adjustments, side-posture positioning, or two control treatments. Immediately after the treatment, they received an MRI scan that allowed researchers to analyze spinal gapping. The chiropractic patients had the most substantial spinal gapping, and patients treated with a combination of chiropractic adjustments and side-posture positioning had the greatest reduction in pain.

The researchers believe that chiropractic adjustments may help to reduce low-back pain by increasing spinal gapping and improving the movement of joints. This, in turn, may help to reduce the formation of fibrous adhesions within joints, which can lead to degenerative changes.

While this study provides preliminary evidence that chiropractic adjustments may be beneficial for treating low-back pain, larger and more long-term studies are needed to confirm these findings. If you’re experiencing low-back pain, talk to your doctor or a qualified chiropractor to see if this treatment may be right for you.
